Rapist. Terrorist. Guest of the British State.

Rapist. Terrorist. Guest of the British State.

They Knew What He’d Done Before. She Walked Home Alone. Still He Raped Her.

An asylum seeker with a terrorist past. A taxpayer-funded Hilton room. A woman attacked in Hyde Park. And the political class want you to just move on? Not a chance.

Let’s not sugarcoat it, shall we?

This country let a convicted terrorist walk through its broken asylum system like it was a revolving door.
Then it housed him in a Hilton hotel.
Then he went out and raped a woman in Hyde Park.

And all of it happened after he’d already been flagged as a threat, walked into this country illegally, and claimed asylum on the back of a lie.

His name is Abdelrahmen Abouelela. He’s 42. And he should never have been in this country — let alone freely roaming the streets, on your dime, while the government played paperwork ping-pong with his case.

But here we are.

🛑 Let’s Call This What It Is: State-Facilitated Failure

This wasn’t a “tragic anomaly.”
This wasn’t “one that slipped through the net.”
This was a preventable attack, allowed to happen because both Labour and the Tories have spent the last 15 years:

– Gutting our border enforcement
– Making deportations impossible
– And turning Britain into a 5-star holding bay for anyone willing to game the system

He didn’t sneak in unnoticed. He wasn’t hiding in the shadows.
He came in through the front, declared asylum, and told us his story.

And still — STILL — he was put up in a hotel and given free rein to move around the capital.
You’re telling us there was no red flag on the system? No flagged alert from Interpol? No one thought, “Hmm, maybe don’t let the convicted bomb plotter near civilians”?

👩⚖️ The Sentence That Feels Like a Slap

Let’s talk about the sentencing, shall we?
He got eight and a half years. For rape. After lying about his past. After already being convicted in absentia for terrorist activity in Egypt.

And sure, deportation is automatic after he serves his sentence — but that’s eight more years of taxpayer money, housing, feeding, guarding and dealing with a violent offender who should never have been here to begin with.

Where’s the justice for her?
Where’s the apology to the public?
Where’s the government’s admission that their system enabled this?

Crickets.

🧨 And Here’s the Ugly Truth:

They Built This System On Purpose

This isn’t just “Labour’s problem.”
This isn’t just “Tory weakness.”
This is the shared legacy of two major parties who’ve both:

– Signed us into human rights frameworks that override national safety
– Allowed open-ended appeals that delay deportations for years
– Refused to fund real border screening, intelligence sharing, or enforcement
– And treated every critic of the system like a xenophobe

Well here’s your reality check.
This isn’t about immigration.
This is about public safety. This is about basic competence.
And it’s about how far we’ve fallen when known foreign criminals are treated with more caution than the British women walking through their own city parks.

🔧 What Reform UK Would Actually Do Differently

Let’s break the spell, shall we?

Reform UK doesn’t believe in mollycoddling foreign nationals with criminal records.
We believe in defending the British public first. Every single time.

Here's what we’d change:

  • Terrorist past? No entry. Ever.

  • Criminal record? No asylum. You’re not our responsibility.

  • Already in the UK and lying on your application? Instant deportation. No appeals. No delays.

  • Victim-vulnerability clause for sentencing. Longer time served for crimes committed against lone, intoxicated, or otherwise vulnerable individuals.

  • Withdraw from the ECHR. So activist lawyers can’t block removals of rapists and terrorists on “family grounds.”

  • End hotel hosting. We’re not running a concierge service. You stay in a secure processing facility — or you don’t stay at all.

It’s not complicated.
We’re not reinventing the wheel.
We’re just saying what everyone else is too cowardly to say out loud:
If this system allows something like this to happen, then it doesn’t deserve to exist.

🧼 Clean House, Protect Women, Stop Playing Politics

That woman in Hyde Park paid the price for years of political cowardice.
The system didn’t just fail her. It handed her over.

Reform UK won’t stop until we’ve ripped that system out by the roots.

Because if Britain’s borders are this easy to lie your way into — and British women this easy to harm without serious consequence — then what exactly is our country protecting anymore?
